Hello !!!

This site isn't supposed to be an ego trip, but here's a (very) little bit about us. At least you can decide if you want to hire a gite off such a pair of no-goods !

We're Martin and Chris. We bought the house in France in 1997, at a time when we were beginning to think there must be more to life than work and money (for those fortunate to have them !), getting up at 5.30am, getting home at 9.00pm and falling asleep in front of the telly by 10.00pm ! 

Martin was a child protection social worker, Chris a health service manager and after years of moving about chasing jobs around the UK, we decided we wanted to have some control over when and how we were to "escape the rat race" - whilst still in our 40s !

The right time came in early 2001 when we both left our jobs and moved out to France in the May - to rediscover the things in life that really matter - and just in time to celebrate the following year our 20th anniversary of being together ! We now divide our time between France and the UK, enjoying the best of both worlds !

You can be assured of a professional & reliable approach : we have been letting properties in the UK for over 14 years, and properties in France for over 8 years !

... and how could we not mention the new addition of January 2005 : "Keanu" (no prizes for guessing who he's named after !!), a poil dur, nain Teckel (a small, wiry haired Daschund in English !). If you like dogs, you're welcome to play with him (for as long as your energy lasts !). But if you're not mad on dogs, don't worry : he's got his own garden so he won't hassle you !!
